Luca was born on the 19th december 2007 at 8.08pm and slipped away 17 minutes later at 8.25pm
Luca is a very much loved and wanted baby ,we found out at 13 weeks pregnant he was suffering from a
condition that meant he would pass away at or soon after birth.I knew from that moment i loved him
with all my heart and would carry him till term.Luca is our 7th baby and was also a twin (the 2nd
baby had died early in the pregnancy).He has 3 brothers and 3 sisters as well as a mammy and daddy
who are heartbroken.Luca decided to make his entrance into this world 3 weeks early and i held in
him my arms as soon as he was born by c section ,he then went to meet his daddy ,brother and sister
who were waiting outside .My midwife then brought him back to me and i held him while he died.I cant
even begin to describe the pain of having your child die in your arms but i dont regret anything and
would do it all again tomorrow.My precious boy was buried with his granda two days after christmas
and we had the most beautiful service.We love you luca ,you have changed our lives forever.

Happy new year Luca .Well angel its the beginning of another year without you and its not getting any easier, mammy misses you so so much. Hope you liked your flowers at christmas son, but i so wish you were here instead ,opening your presents with your brothers and sisters. Your little friend Neavens twin brother has passed away and his mummy and daddy are devastated so please give baby William a big love and tell him we are all so sorry he wasnt able to stay with his loving family.
You are my baby Luca and mammy and daddy are very very proud of you. Our perfect little boy. xx

I hope your safe and happy in granda Alans arms. I will never ever understand why you had to be taken away from me.I am so pleased i was able to give you life,even for a few minutes.You were such a brave boy and defied the odds to be able to meet mammy ,daddy and your brother and sister.
Its nearly 8 months since you died and mammy still cant come to terms with it.WHY YOU,WHY???????????????.I,m sick of people saying 'well at least you,ve got all the other kids,some people cant even have one' AAAARRRRGGGGHHH
It dosent matter if you were my first baby or my 7th mammy loved you just as much .You would have been so loved and fussed over in our noisy chaotic house,i so wish you were here to plays cars with charlie and for your big sisters to fuss over.I love you baby and always will .

hi maxine i hear you have now got baby lucas head stone, it sounds beautiful we have just got my dads and its gorgous, hopefully my dad will be proud of all of us for doing the last thing what we can for him, i am sure luca will be showing all his little friends how cool his new headstone is ,and how lovely his family are , i hope luca and anthony have become little buddies , anthony will love him xxxxx nite nite maxine, my love always karen xxxx
